Mick DiGrazia

Chief Information Officer, N.C. Department of Public Safety

Mick DiGrazia has served as chief information officer for the N.C. Department of Public Safety since January 2026.

Previously, as senior director of Enterprise Operations for the N.C. Department of Information Technology, he led more than 275 staff to deliver IT services to over 375 state agencies, local governments and educational institutions across North Carolina. He oversaw statewide IT infrastructure and drives digital transformation to enhance customer service and operational efficiency through secure, scalable and efficient solutions aligned with state objectives.

Prior to joining NCDIT in 2022, DiGrazia established himself as a transformational technology leader with more than 25 years’ experience in healthcare and higher education, including at Duke University Health System and the University of Connecticut.

He holds a Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Connecticut School of Business, a Master of Science in human nutrition from the University of Bridgeport and a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from the University of New Hampshire. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
