Cristalle Dickerson

Deputy Chief of Staff

As deputy chief of staff at the N.C. Department of Information Technology, Cristalle Dickerson helps shape the department's strategy and culture, supporting coordination across NCDIT's leadership team and initiatives.

Previously at NCDIT, Dickerson served as interim director of strategic communications and communications and strategy lead for the Division of Broadband and Digital Opportunity, where she was a spokesperson on the state's $2.5 billion broadband expansion and digital opportunity efforts for nearly five years.

Earlier in her career, Dickerson managed marketing and communications for the American Board of Anesthesiology, promoting programs dedicated to improving patient safety and enhancing the quality of healthcare for residents.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and mass communication with a concentration in public relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
