Angela Morando

Legislative Affairs Manager

As legislative affairs manager for the N.C. Department of Information Technology, Angela Morando engages with the N.C. General Assembly in policymaking to help shape the future of North Carolina’s digital landscape.

Before joining NCDIT in March 2025 as legislative liaison, she worked for nearly four years at the N.C. General Assembly, including as an investigative analyst for the Joint Legislative Commission on Governmental Operations. She also served as a policy adviser for former Sen. Jason Saine during his tenure as Senior Appropriations Chairman, focusing on state budgeting and broadband and wireless infrastructure.

Morando holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from North Carolina State University.
