Working Group for Orthoimagery & Elevation (SMAC)
Purpose
The Working Group for Orthoimagery and Elevation is responsible for developing plans and seeking sources of funding to assist and advise state and local governments in acquiring high-resolution digital orthoimagery for North Carolina. More recently, the group has advised statewide programs for orthoimagery and elevation. It has produced plans and recommended practices, including:
- North Carolina Orthoimagery Business Plan
- Recommended File Naming Standard for NC Orthoimagery
- Using Color Infrared Imagery
- Oblique Imagery Guidance
