Workforce Diversity Internship Program

The application period for spring/summer internships is Jan. 30 to Feb. 13, 2025.

The N.C. Department of Information Technology’s Workforce Diversity Internship program offers a variety of paid, experiential learning opportunities for those who desire to work in technology. Interns will be pursuing or have technology-related college education and experience.

Interns gain real-world work experience, contribute to NCDIT's day-to-day operations and connect with diverse individuals and communities.

• Internship dates: May 12 to Aug. 1, 2025
• Application period: Jan. 30 to Feb. 13, 2025
• Work type: 20 to 40 hours a week, remote
• Pay: $20 hourly

Preference will be given to candidates who either reside in North Carolina or are within a 3-hour commute to the duty station assigned for the internship.
