Workforce Diversity Internship Program

The N.C. Department of Information Technology’s Workforce Diversity Internship program offers a variety of paid, experiential learning opportunities for those who desire to work in technology. Interns will be pursuing or have technology-related college education and experience.

Interns gain real-world work experience, contribute to NCDIT's day-to-day operations and connect with diverse individuals and communities.

• Dates: Year-round
• Next application period: Opens in July 2024
• Work type: 20 to 40 hours a week, remote
• Pay: $20 hourly

Preference will be given to candidates who either reside in North Carolina or are within a 3-hour commute to the duty station assigned for the internship.

Beginning in July 2024, interested candidates should submit their resume and cover letter, indicating which position or positions they are interested in, to NCDIT internship coordinator Yori Lucien at yori.lucien@nc.gov. Any questions can also be directed to the coordinator.
