The N.C. Department of Information Technology’s HBCU internship program offers a variety of paid, full-time experiential learning opportunities for students in IT-related degree programs at historically Black colleges and universities. Interns gain real-world work experience, contribute to our day-to-day operations and connect with many different individuals and communities.

  • Work type: 40 hours a week, remote
  • Pay: $20 hourly

Preference will be given to students at HBCUs in North Carolina, but students at HBCUs outside the state will also be considered. Preference will also be given to candidates who either reside in North Carolina or are within a 3-hour commute to the duty station assigned for the internship.
