North Carolina executive branch state agencies and the N.C. Department of Information Technology follow a 10-step IT procurement process and use the NC eProcurement Sourcing Tool to develop and conduct solicitations for IT goods and services. The sourcing tool allows for state agencies and vendors to exchange information electronically.
The streamlined IT procurement process that is enabled by the sourcing tool reduces the overall procurement cycle time, increases visibility to status of active IT procurements, improves the quality of solicitation documents and ensures compliance to applicable statutes and rules.
Below is training on the IT procurement process, as well as training for common user roles.
