As required by state law, the N.C. Department of Information Technology updates its fees and rates each year to reflect industry standards for any goods or services that we charge state agencies and local governments.
These rates are must be approved by the N.C. Office of State Budget & Management.
Because the N.C. General Assembly has not passed a new Appropriations Act, in accordance with N.C.G.S. 143C-5-4, the state continues operating under the FY 2024-2025 budget.
As a result, OSBM has not approved proposed rates for FY 2025–2026, and NCDIT continues operating within the FY 2024-2025 recurring certified budgets for all rated services and subscriptions.
This means the current year service rates below reflect the rates established in FY 2024-2025 and serve as the basis for FY 2025–2026.
What's Changing for FY 2026-2027?
We are not implementing any changes to subscriptions or service rates for FY 2026–2027.
This means your agency’s subscription will remain the same and that you will continue paying for the services you consume based on FY 2024-2025 service rates.
This decision is intentional and reflects our commitment to supporting our customers while we reassess our service model and rate setting process.
Customer Expectations
We are committed to providing clear and timely communications about billing. As a customer, you should review their billing monthly and report any billing issues in a timely manner.
Formal billing communications are sent to the agency billing contact listed in the NCDIT Customer Care Portal (also referred to as the NetPlus billing system). They should ensure that relevant information is shared appropriately with their agency’s decisionmakers.
