PDF remediation involves making changes to PDF documents to ensure they are accessible to people who use screen readers and other assistive technologies. This process includes adding meaningful alternative text to images, properly tagging document content for structure and reading order, ensuring tables are understandable, and creating form fields that can be completed by all users.
