Training Video for Incorporating Vendor Agreements

Training Video Demonstrates Incorporating Vendor Agreements

The Statewide IT Procurement Office has created a highly informative training video that reviews the process for modifying and incorporating vendor agreements into state IT contracts so that they comply with N.C. General Statutes and N.C. Administrative Code. These vendor agreements include end user license agreements, master agreements and service level agreements.

The training covers:

  • Forms and templates within the SharePoint IT Contracts Record Center and the two methods to use: NCDIT software addendum procedures and incorporation of vendor documents into solicitations
  • The two times when vendor agreements typically can incorporate vendor agreements: before it goes to the vendor and after it goes to the vendor
  • Clauses in the state’s terms and conditions associated with N.C. General Statutes and N.C. Administrative Code
  • Who can incorporate vendor agreements into a solicitation and approve any related negotiation: Statewide IT Procurement and Statewide DOJ
  • Concerns vendors typically have when incorporation occurs
