Government Data Analytics Center Shares Accomplishments & Goals in Annual Report

The N.C. Government Data Analytics Center's new initiatives benefit the N.C. Community College System, the N.C. Department of Justice’s Consumer Protection Division and N.C. Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission.

The N.C. Government Data Analytics Center (GDAC) has released its annual report highlighting its initiatives to enable data-driven government and policy making across the state.

GDAC is a trusted resource for numerous partners, including state agencies, local governments and the health care community. The center develops analytic solutions and intelligence related to criminal justice, child and family safety, fraud and compliance, health care, performance analysis and financial transparency. In addition, it enables the sharing of data assets by implementing a strong data governance model that ensures privacy, proper access and use of data.

GDAC’s new initiatives for 2023 include developing a data-sharing repository for the N.C. Community College System, a case management system for the N.C. Department of Justice’s Consumer Protection Division and an operational system and open data portal for the N.C. Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission.
