The FIC Executive Committee meets to collaborate, share data, share knowledge, and consider issues, strategies, and practices. The committee may make recommendations to the Geographic Information Coordinating Council on behalf of federal government GIS users.

Meetings are held virtually.

The North Carolina Geographic Information Coordinating Council (GICC) meets quarterly to provide direction and oversight for policies, plans, data standards, data sharing, strategies, and technical issues. Meetings may include technical presentations, reports on initiatives and opportunities, discussion of issues, and reports from standing and ad hoc committees and working groups.  Online access information and agenda will be posted in the weeks prior to the event.
