The State of North Carolina Seeks Providers for Security Assessment Services

The N.C. Department of Information Technology is inviting IT service providers within the state of North Carolina to prequalify for a statewide convenience contract to deliver security assessment services to government entities under State Term Contract 918A.

The N.C. Department of Information Technology is inviting IT service providers within the state of North Carolina to prequalify for a statewide convenience contract to deliver security assessment services to government entities under State Term Contract 918A.

As part of its efforts to assure that North Carolina government entities have access to contract vehicles that offer the most current IT solutions, NCDIT is refreshing convenience contracts more often. 

The request for proposal (RFP) for Solicitation Number ITS-401096 Security Assessment Services closes at 2 p.m. EST on June 29

NCDIT will hold a virtual meeting from 2-4 p.m. EST on June 1. The meeting is non-mandatory (urged and cautioned) but strongly suggested as it offers an opportunity for vendors to evaluate the requirements of the solicitation, ask questions and assess the opportunity. 

Vendors are cautioned that any information released to attendees during the meeting that conflicts with or adds to specifications in this RFP, must be confirmed by written addendum before it can be considered a part of this proposal. 

The term for State Term Contract 918A will be three years with the option to extend the contract for two additional one-year periods for services related to the following categories:

  • Security Program Assessment
  • Application Risk Assessment
  • Network Architecture Assessment
  • Wireless Network Architecture Assessment
  • Penetration Test and Assessment
  • Internal Vulnerability Assessment
  • Security Incident Readiness Assessment
  • Security Incident Responses Services and Consulting
  • Cybersecurity Training
  • Security Policy Development Services
  • Value-Added Consulting Services
  • Value-Added Services
