Eric Boyette, Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Information Technology and State Chief Information Officer, has been named one of three Executive Committee Directors for the National Association of State Chief Information Officers.
As a member of NASCIO’s 14-member governing body, Boyette will help oversee the organization’s budget, business plans, strategic planning and membership.
Boyette was appointed by NASCIO President and Oklahoma CIO Bo Reese, and will serve a term of one year. New Hampshire Commissioner Denis Goulet and Utah CIO Mike Hussey join Boyette as Executive Committee Directors and will both serve two-year terms.
“I am honored to have been chosen as one of the newest Executive Committee members for NASCIO,” Boyette said. “I look forward to upholding the organization’s standards for supporting information technology and CIOs from across the country, as well as promote North Carolina as a thought leader for information technology.”
