The April 2025 Statewide IT Procurement Office webinar features the new OneForm and covers several key IT procurement initiatives including:
- The importance of procurement from the perspective of value-added reviews, efficiency, accountability and demonstrated value to the people of North Carolina.
- Abnormal quantity savings: Many vendors on NCDIT's bulk contracts only provide a certain minimal discount because they have to match that in other states and at other entities. However, on bigger purchases, NCDIT can negotiate a larger discount with many of those vendors. Since 2023, NCDIT has saved the state more than $130 million each year on large purchases.
- OneForm: A single form that is designed to simplify the IT procurement process from an end user perspective and that includes the Enterprise Project Management Office Form, Privacy Threshold Analysis Form, Procurement Intake Form, determines whether the procurement is IT or not and creates the sourcing project in Ariba.
