N.C. Identity Management (NCID)

North Carolina Identity Management is the standard identity and access management platform from the N.C. Department of Information Technology. NCID is a provisioning environment for managing application access. This service infrastructure provides a unified platform for e-business authentication and authorization.

NCID customers enjoy an elevated degree of security and access control. An account with this web-based application lets users access many North Carolina state-owned resources. State and local governments, businesses and individuals can securely login to real-time resources, such as customer-based applications and information retrieval.

NCID is governed by the NCID Service Policy.
