Improving and modernizing government IT.
We are involved in a number of ongoing initiatives to provide better IT service delivery and value to state government.
The General Assembly directed the State Chief Information Officer to identify restructuring options for the most effective use of IT resources. Our recommended structure will support an enterprise approach to addressing the State’s technology needs.
The Innovation Center (iCenter) focuses on transforming how North Carolina government delivers products and services through technology. The iCenter was recognized as a 2015 “Bright Idea” by the Ash Center at Harvard University.
North Carolina Government Data Analytics Center (GDAC)
The North Carolina Government Data Analytics Center (GDAC) works to transform existing state data assets into a utility for the State’s leaders for making important decisions. The GDAC works with agencies to define their analytic needs, determine access to required data sources, and scope the level of effort to support analytics development.
