Policies, standards, planning and more.
We help agencies comply with state IT regulations and set the vision for IT modernization in our biennial Strategic Plan.
Our Statewide Information Technology Plan supports the Governor’s priorities and recommended budget and is based on input from State agencies. The plan is the culmination of a multi-step process designed by the State Chief Information Officer (SCIO) to align the numerous independent initiatives across the agencies and institutions that comprise State government’s IT operations.
The Enterprise Security and Risk Management Office (ESRMO) provides leadership in the development, delivery and maintenance of a cybersecurity program that safeguards the state's IT assets against unauthorized use, disclosure, modification, damage or loss. This comprehensive statewide program encompasses information security implementation, monitoring, threat and vulnerability management, cyber incident management, and enterprise business continuity management.
IT Strategic Sourcing
The Statewide IT Strategic Sourcing Office manages policies related to IT procurement and oversees procurement of information technology products and services for State agencies, community colleges, and public universities.
