Local Area Network (LAN)

Service Description

LAN Services provides Local Area Network infrastructure within a building or campus environment, which enables data communications among local resources within an organization. These services support the infrastructure components [wired and wireless] and resources required to enable connectivity from end-user computing devices. The service includes equipment, maintenance, configuration, administration, monitoring, and support of the customer premise networking infrastructure.

  2. A Service Transition team member will contact you to determine the scope and requirements of your request.
  3. Upon agreement of scope and cost estimates, Services Support will schedule a time with you to begin implementation.

  • Effective August 15, 2016, the ITS Communications Hub has been replaced with the new DIT Communications Hub.  The DIT Communications Hub is restricted to government and educational agencies.
