Service Description

Our Project Management Office (PMO) enables excellence in the area of project management. We provide experienced, PMP certified project managers to manage individual customer projects. This can be arranged on either a short-term or long-term basis via Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Service Support

General areas of support including roles and responsibilities, requirements, and customized costs are included in the MOU for this service.


Our project managers bring a wide variety of experience managing IT projects, and all have delivered multiple successful implementations to North Carolina state government.

Customers who use the Project Management service can expect to see the following benefits:

  • Effective and results-driven IT project management by skilled, disciplined leaders
  • PM Services provided to state agency customers on demand with no procurement, supplemental staffing, or other technical services RFP needed. All that is required is a bill code that can be charged for the services being provided.
  • Cost avoidance for customers who do not have to maintain and provide their own in-house IT project management resources and skills for performing this type of work on a full-time basis when a full-time resource is not required
  • Billing rates that are competitive and/or below commercially available alternatives
  • IT projects managed using methods, techniques and processes that can be launched quickly and efficiently. Disciplined practices allow IT project managers to anticipate problems or delays, deploy resources more efficiently, and manage change or risks more effectively.
  • Well defined project management disciplines that increase the ability to achieve the expected results by monitoring project performance on a regular basis while measuring progress in terms of technical, financial, and schedule results
