Clearing Cache & Browsing History

Google Chrome

1. In the upper right-hand corner click on the 3 dots.
2. Navigate to “History” and click on History.
3. On the left-hand side click on “Clear Browsing Data”
4. Choose the Advanced tab
5. Your time range should be set to “All time”
6. Click Clear Data at the bottom of the window.
7. Once the screen goes back to Settings, it has completed the process. Close the browser completely.
8. Re-open the browser and navigate to https://it.nc.gov/CJLEADS and log back in to CJLEADS via our website.

Firefox

1. In the upper right-hand corner click on the 3 horizontal lines
2. Click “History” from the menu
3. Select “Clear recent history…”
4. On the Clear All History screen, time range should be set to “Everything”.
5. Click OK.
6. Once complete, close the browser completely.
7. Re-open the browser and navigate to https://it.nc.gov/CJLEADS and log back in to CJLEADS via our website.

Microsoft Edge

1. In the upper right-hand corner click the 3 dots.
2. Click “Settings” from the menu
3. On the left hand side, click “Privacy, search, and services”.
4. Scroll to the Clear browsing data section.
5. Click “Choose what to clear” under clear browsing data.
6. Your time range should be set to “All time”. Click “Clear now”
7. Once complete, close the browser completely.
8. Re-open the browser and navigate to https://it.nc.gov/CJLEADS and log back in to CJLEADS via our website

Functionality Issues

In order for the CJLEADS helpdesk to effectively help troubleshoot your functionality issues, please send your User ID, Browser Version, and Operating System to cjleadshelp@nc.gov. You can follow the steps below to gather the information.

Finding the Browser Version

Google Chrome

1. In the upper right-hand corner click on the 3 dots.
2. Click on “Help”
3. Click on “About Google Chrome”
4. The version will then be displayed.

Firefox

1. In the upper right-hand corner click on the 3 horizontal lines
2. Click “Help” from the menu
3. Click on “About Fire Fox”
4. The version will then be displayed.

Microsoft Edge

1. In the upper right-hand corner click the 3 dots.
2. Click “settings” from the menu
3. Click “About Microsoft Edge from the bottom of the settings menu
4. The version will then be displayed.

Finding the Operating System Version (Windows)

1. Choose the Start Menu at the bottom left corner
2. Type Command Prompt in the Search Field
3. Select Command Prompt (should be up at the top of that window.
4. The Windows Version is at the top of that Command screen.

Supported:

  • Apple Safari (latest stable version)
  • Google Chrome (latest stable version)
  • Microsoft Edge on Chromium (latest stable version)
  • Mozilla Firefox (latest stable version and latest Extended Support Release version)  

Note: Most CJLEADS users have a current operating system; If an agency has issued devices with outdated operating systems, it is the agency’s responsibility to procure supported OS.
