After serving nearly 33 years in the U.S. Air Force, Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Brett T. Williams co-founded IronNet Cybersecurity, which defends companies, sectors and nations,. 

His last assignment was director of operations, U.S. Cyber Command. He was responsible for the operations and defense of U.S. Department of Defense networks and the planning and execution of offensive actions in support of national security objectives. 

A highly experienced fighter pilot, he also flew more than 100 combat missions in the F-15C.  He also held several large operational commands, including commander of the Air Force’s largest combat wing, located in Okinawa, Japan.
