I. Distribution List
--------------------

This distribution includes
  1. XnetPR.exe installation file
  2. readme.txt

II. General Installation Notes
------------------------------

To print a document on a local or network printer, users
need the Xnet Local Print Extension helper application
(XnetPR) installed on their workstations. If the Xnet
Local Print Extension is installed, the browser invokes
it when you select the "local printer" option to print
document pages using applications like Xnet. The application
downloads the document; XnetPR displays the Print dialog
and prints the document on the local printer.
   A. Install the application using standard Windows installation
      procedures.
   B. Beginning with XnetPR version 1.1.10, the INI file for this
application is xnetpr.ini. If an earlier version of XnetPR
was installed, the installation process locates the
configuration file, xnet.ini, renames it to xnetpr.ini,
and moves it to the private files path. If no prior INI
file exists, a default xnetpr.ini file is installed
in the private files path. Refer to the Xnet Installation
manual for details about editing preferences for xnetpr.ini.

III. Known Issues
-----------------

   None

IV. Changes in this Build
-------------------------

The XnetPR application looks in the registry for the private data
path, which is where the users preferences/settings are stored
in the INI file. If the path is not in the registry or cannot be
read, XnetPR would look in the default location, which was
previously in the C:\Documents and Settings folder. Because
Windows 7 and later does not use this application data path,
XnetPR has been changed to query the operating system to obtain
the application data location. It uses the common (all users)
application data path environment variable to build the default
   path.
